FAQ

Common questions.

What is trucking compliance?
Trucking compliance covers every federal and state filing required to operate legally — your USDOT number, MC operating authority, BOC-3 process agent, UCR registration, fuel tax (IFTA), apportioned plates (IRP), highway use tax (Form 2290), and biennial MCS-150 updates. We handle all of it from one office.
How fast can I get my MC authority?
We file your USDOT and MC applications quickly, often the same day we have your information. The FMCSA has a mandatory waiting period before MC authority becomes active.
Do I need an LLC before getting authority?
It is strongly recommended. We can form your trucking LLC, get your EIN, and file your authority under the company — all in one visit.
What does it cost?
We use flat-rate pricing and quote you up front before any work begins. Government and FMCSA fees are always shown separately from our preparation fee.
Can you help with renewals and reinstatements?
Yes. We handle annual UCR, IFTA, IRP, and 2290 renewals, MCS-150 biennial updates, and authority reinstatements for carriers whose USDOT or MC has been revoked.
Are you affiliated with the FMCSA or DOT?
No. We are a private document preparation and filing service, not a government agency. We help you file accurately based on the information you provide.
